Conditions
not covered by Warranty
Peter DeVivi Productions, Inc.
assumes no liability for defects which are caused either by
improper preparation of the surface on which this product is to
be installed by defective installation and/or application.
The warranty does not cover
indentations, scratches or damages caused by negligence, animal

discoloration, spiked heels, mopping with water, improper
maintenance, discoloration of the wood caused by direct sunlight
hitting the floor, sheen reduction due to wear or extreme environmental
conditions.
Tips
For The Prevention of Problems
-
Discoloration of wood is
caused by direct sunlight hitting the floor. Sheen reduction
is due to wear or extreme environmental conditions.
-
Maintaining the relative
humidity in your home at 40-50%.
-
Water and wood are worst
enemies. For every day maintenance, we recommend using Basic
Coating Squeaky Clean or a like product from a flooring
retailer. Do not use grocery store items as Mr. Clean or
Murphy's. If Dulling in the finish occurs in high traffic
areas, use Basic Coating Refresher or a like product from a
flooring retailer. Never use waxes or polishes on your
TaperTite flooring.
-
Routinely vacuum the floor
with one of the soft attachments for the vacuum cleaner.
Vacuuming keeps dust and dirt from building up and protects
from scratching the finish.
-
High heels can damage the
surface of your TaperTite floor.
-
All wood oxidizes over
time. Oxidation changes the color or patina of the TaperTite
flooring and
gives it the mature or aged look that most people like.
Ultraviolet rays from the sun cause almost all of these
phenomena. Direct sunlight on the TaperTite floor surface will
greatly accelerate this process.
-
Felt pads must be under
all chair legs and other furniture to prevent scratching the
TaperTite floor finish.
-
Report all claims to the
retailer as soon as possible.
